Butler Marketing Ltd. is a privately owned company based in Richmond, BC, Canada. We are a wholesale distributor of hardware products to the cabinet, furniture and millwork industries with our office and warehouse in Richmond, BC. We’ve been in operation since March 1995 and at our current location since 1999.
Our sales desk is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (local time).

We are a wholesale distributor to manufacturers. In addition, we supply product to hardware retailers and support their businesses by not selling retail. Our minimum order is $25.00 and we may apply a $5.00 service charge to smaller transactions.
We invite you to complete our Credit Application form. Upon submission, we will advise you of our position in a timely manner. Until credit has been established, we would be selling on a C.O.D. basis.
If you wish to return goods to us, please advise us first and upon our approval, we may issue a return goods number. This will ensure that returned goods are properly received and credited to the correct account. Full credit will be allowed to cover errors in shipping or defective product. Returns made for any other reason may be subjected to a restocking charge. A copy of the original invoice may be required. Obsolete, discontinued or special order products are not returnable.
Our terms are net 30 days. All invoices over 60 days will be considered delinquent, and in-house orders will be placed on hold until the balance of the account is brought current with our terms. Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges of 1% per month, applied to the overdue balance. Past due payments are not eligible for credit card payments. Credit card payments at time-of-sale only.
In the early 1980’s, Derek Butler, our owner, and his two sisters built a summer cabin together.
His crafty youngest sister, Gillian, made some banners for the inside walls of the cabin for decoration. All siblings have different last names, so Gillian played off that theme.
Chartrand’s Chalet – Sister Susan married an Albertan cowboy and in those days lived in Alberta. Their banner had mountains and waves representing the landscape they travelled.
Guiton’s ‘Getaway’ – has Derek’s brother-in-law dreaming of recreation while pushing a lawnmower.
The Butler’s Quarters – has Derek depicted as the Butler and the castle flags read his wife and daughter’s names.
When it was time to choose a company logo, Derek took inspiration from this banner and added his most important business value, “SERVICE” to the platter and voila . . .
– our logo was born.
